2010 SABAW National Conference Scholarships - Attorneys
The South Asian Bar Association of Washington will grant two scholarships of $1,500 each to attorneys who can best demonstrate a commitment to assist the South Asian community, locally or at large, to attend the 2010 NASABA National Conference in June 24-27, 2010, in Boston, and report back to the local SABAW membership. The award winner will be required to attend the entire convention and write a short essay suitable for publication in the SABAW newsletter.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be attorneys residing in the State of Washington. Members of the Scholarship Committee are not qualified to participate.

The Scholarship Committee comprises the following attorneys: Sandip Soli, Pallavi Mehta Wahi, and Sunil Abraham

To apply, please send an essay less than 200 words to Rajiv Sarathy (rsarathy@perkinscoie.com), expressing commitment to the South Asian community and intent to attend the 2009 NASABA National Conference.

THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS May 15, 2010.

The Scholarship Committee will announce awardees shortly thereafter. The awards will be disbursed upon a showing of proof by the awardees of registration for the 2010 NASABA National Conference, hotel reservations and travel reservations.
